This clinical resource section from the Migration Humanitarian Health Collective (MH2C) / Calgary Refugee Health Program provides guidance on sexual and reproductive health considerations for refugee patients. It includes recommendations for cervical cancer screening (Pap test every 3 years for ages 25–69, discussed at first visit), awareness of female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C) in patients from high-prevalence regions, syphilis serology in initial screening for adults, and STI screening integrated into the initial assessment.  The resource also notes the importance of offering referral to a female practitioner when a patient expresses discomfort. This resource supports clinicians in delivering sensitive, culturally aware reproductive healthcare during the initial resettlement period.
